Descrizione del fascicolo
Editors for this issue: Giuseppe Balirano (University of Naples “L’Orientale”), Jai Mackenzie (Newman University, Birmingham, UK), Angela Zottola (University of Turin)
Issue 10 of de genere aims to continue to refine and develop scholarly understanding of the social norms, structures and practices that shape conceptions of family, parenthood, and means of family formation. By examining, through a linguistic lens, media constructions of contemporary family types, both within and beyond the heteronormative ideal, all the articles in this issue seek to chart the current discursive landscape for families, parents and intended parents.
